The Toyota Suppliers Club (TSC), Malaysia continues to support its member companies in strengthening the fundamentals of the Toyota Production System (TPS) through the TPS Shop Floor Management Development Programme.
As part of this initiative, a series of training and follow-up activities were conducted between ASSB and AGC to enhance daily management practices and shop floor control.
ASSB Visit to AGC

Participants: 5 representatives from AGC
The programme focused on the development of Shop Floor Management, with emphasis on:
- Production Control Board implementation
- Newcomer Dojou Training
Participants had the opportunity to observe practical shop floor management practices and gain insights into daily management systems implemented at ASSB.
ASSB Follow-up Visit to AGC, Bukit Raja

Venue: AGC Bukit Raja
Participants: 5 representatives from AGC
A follow-up session was conducted to review the implementation progress of the Shop Floor Management initiative. During the visit, the team assessed the production control board setup and provided recommendations for further improvement.
Key observations included:
- Three sections had successfully implemented the production control board.
- Opportunities were identified to improve the board layout and data visualization to further enhance daily management effectiveness.
The TPS Shop Floor Management Development Programme serves as an important foundation for member companies in adopting TPS principles, promoting effective visual management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the shop floor.
